چکیده
Hybrid nanofluids (HNFs) have received the prominent attention of researchers due to their improved thermophysical properties than conventional liquids and single-phase nanofluids. Such high potential heat transfer fluids are obtained from suspension two or more dissimilar nanoparticles in a regular liquid. Nanofluids for Heat Transfer Enhancement – A Review
A nanofluid is a dilute liquid suspension of particles with at least one critical dimension smaller than ~100 nm. Research works so far suggest that nanofluids offer excellent heat transfer enhancement over conventional base fluids. The enhancement depends on several factors such as particle shape, particle size distribution, volume fraction of nanoparticles, temperature, pH, and thermal conduc...

Ultrahigh performance cooling is one of the important needs of many industries. However, low thermal conductivity is a primary limitation in developing energy-efficient heat transfer fluids that are required for cooling purposes. Nanofluids are engineered by suspending nanoparticles with average sizes below 100 nm in heat transfer fluids such as water, oil, diesel, ethylene glycol, etc. Innovat...
متن کاملA comprehensive review of experimental investigations of forced convective heat transfer characteristics for various nanofluids
Nanofluids are suspension of nanoparticles (less than 100 nm) in the conventional base fluids. The dispersed solid metallic or non-metallic nanoparticles change the thermal properties like thermal conductivity, viscosity, specific heat, and density of the base fluid. Past studies focused on measuring the thermal properties of nanofluids. These suspended nanoparticles effectively improve the tra...
